In my current role, I led the creative development of a custom comic book highlighting the lives and careers of our CEO and President. The project required translating professional milestones into an engaging, narrative-driven format that felt both authentic and visually compelling.
I directed the overall concept, theme, and storytelling cadence, guiding two marketing team members through the writing, storyboarding, illustration, and coloring process. In addition to contributing original illustrated sections of Jim’s story, I refined initial sketches to ensure stylistic consistency across the book.
To further strengthen the visual identity, I hand-lettered a custom font used for the narrator and character dialogue, giving the comic a distinctive and cohesive voice. I also oversaw the final layout, design refinement, and overall aesthetic to ensure the finished piece aligned with our brand standards while maintaining the dynamic energy of a comic format.
This project demonstrates my ability to lead creative initiatives, manage collaborative workflows, and execute detailed, multi-layered design projects from concept through final production.
