Prompt: The challenge of this project was to take an existing brand and create new assets for the growing art center, working together as a team for this project. SSCAC had recently updated their brand to appeal to a fresh, younger audience. Their goal for us was to incorporate these ideals into new materials while also keeping their current audience engaged in this transition and to celebrate 80 years of artistic and cultural excellence.
Solution: We each introduced our ideas into the banners, brochures, social media posts and other assets that remained in line to this new branding. Part of our process was researching the rich history of the South Side Community Art Center and finding new ways to encourage the engagement of the younger audience for general community use and for their 80th anniversary. Final products were digital and printable assets for the center, social media posts, banner, invitations and buttons for their 80th anniversary, and updating media banners and newsletter.
